Fashion Forward With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week & GREENFashion Showroom

Hello Lovelies,

Today’s tribute is to the fashion conscious mavens — like the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week & GREENshowroom — an amazing fashion & green fusion  –was a huge success. This integration highlighted sustainable fashion’s rise.  Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin continues to house this event, now in its 6th year.  Sustainable eco fashion trends are showcased to the vast international & national attendees.

Among the 25 labels — were Anne Gorke, Deep Mello and Sarah Reinhard. If your label would like to send  your models down the runway — you must prove (in advance) that no less than 60% of your collection is sustainable.

Make up throughout the show was sponsored by AVEDA — the natural cosmetic brand, who opt to use pink eye shadow in soft rouge, adorning the outer corners of the eyes; while the rest of the makeup remained natural — with only the lips accented with pink lip gloss.

Voluminous hairstyles and soft colors set the stage for this unique show.

Magdalena Schaffrin and Jana Keller, founders of the exhibition were delighted with the success of the event.

“It is great to see such a positive mood and enthusiasm amongst the exhibitors and the audience. This shows us that consciousness is growing towards a more sustainable living and Green Luxury is en vogue. We are very pleased that the idea and concept of GREENshowrooms is so well received. “

Hair Takes Back the Runway In “Day of the Hairdresser.”

Socialistas,

Emiliani’s “Day of the Hairdresser” show made an epic debut last weekend at The Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. The two-day event exceeded expectations as one of the most innovative displays of talent in the industry, with no shortage of amazing moments, stellar creativity and awe-inspiring talent.

The Extravaganza kicked off with an exclusive VIP party with  celebrity hairdressers: Robert Cromeans, Nicholas French, Phillip Wilson, Amit Abraham, Gina Khan, Patrick McIvor, Joseph DiMaggio, Jo Blackwell, Michael O’Rourke, Boyd Parris, Rafe Hardy, Tim Hartley, Leonel Rodriguez and Rocco Vitelli arrived ready to party along with their admiring fans.

 — The vivacity of the stylists fed the crowd’s appetites for glamour, drama and ingenuity – concepts essential to this eclectic craft. Andre Chiavelli, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Emiliani Enterprises, gave a riveting speech during the opening acts of the grand event on Monday driving home the adage of “giving credit where credit is due.” –EE.

Fashion dominates the runway as the “only star of the show” for far too long…yet if not for the throngs of beauty teams backstage and behind the scenes, the images of perfectly polished models and celebrities would be non-existent. Socialistas, it’s been a motto of ES for years…”talents of the fashion and beauty world should work hand in hand to create the most exceptional results.” We call it — “BeaUshion”…The Fashion & Beauty Fusion of Style.  All of the characteristics of iconic clothing – sharp lines, vivid colors and unforgettable silhouettes – are paramount in beauty as well. A diva’s hair is her direct expression of personalities and can be a manifestation of our wildest dreams.

“The Day of the Hairdresser” featured avant-garde and high fashion looks; the energy from the crowd was electric as each artist created their own dream world on the runway. Case in point: Phillip Wilson cut a models’ hair while she hung upside down from cloths in a Cirque-du-Solei style performance.

This show marks the start of a hair revolution. The beauty industry thus far was always an after thought compared to the fashion industry, but that ended with “The 4th Dimension.” The success of this show has inspired the hair industry to continue on its path of recognition. Be on the lookout for Emiliani to take Fashion Week by storm in the Fall.
