Matthew Curtis Backstage for TRESemmé®

Dolores Cortes – 60’s Inspired Beehive

1. Prep towel-dried hair with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse, applying to palms and throughout the entire hair for volume
2. Blow dry hair with a round brush for extra fullness
3. Take a square section of hair from the forehead to crown and backcomb throughout
4. Roll the square section of hair under and secure with pins just behind the crown at the top of the head. This helps to create a solid base for the style
5. Working around the head, backcomb small sections and pull them over the base and secure with pins
6. Repeat until all hair is pulled back into the style
7. Finish with TRESemmé TRES Two Freeze Hold Hair Spray to keep the look in place

Lisa Blue – Goddess Coils

1. Prep dry, day-old hair with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse, applying to palms and throughout the entire hair for volume
2. Part the hair in the middle and pull all hair back toward the nape of the neck
3. Divide hair into two sections and spray with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Non Aerosol Hair Spray
4. Starting just behind the ear, twist each section inward, creating two coils
5. Stitch the coils together with thread to create a plaited effect and tie off at the end
Stylist Secret: When recreating the style, skip the needle and thread and secure the coils together with pins or a plait
6. Finish with a spritz of TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray to add shine and help keep the look in place

White Sands – Surfer Chic Waves

1. Prep towel-dried hair with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse, applying to palms and throughout hair for volume
2. Blow dry hair with a round brush for extra fullness
3. After parting the hair down the middle, take 1-2 inch sections of hair and curl using a 1 and 1/2 inch barrel-curling iron, spraying each section with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Curl Activator Spray prior to curling to aid in protecting hair from excess heat. Make sure to leave ends out of the iron to give hair a beachy feel
4. Once the entire head is curled, run fingertips through the curls to break them up slightly for a looser, more modern style
5. Create a deep side part and pull the fringe over the forehead and secure just behind the ear with a pin
6. Finish with a spritz of TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray to add shine and help keep the look in place

Beauty Trend Evolution According to TotalBeauty

Ever wondered how a beauty trend came about? TotalBeauty.com recently published Trend Evolution, which explains the ‘coveted’ phenomenon.

Let’s look at the feather extension craze of 2011. To understand a trend, you must first see it at the source – the runway! In an amazing sequence of events, the beauty ‘must-haves’ cycle originates from the creative styles of the season’s fashion designers. Then its onto the red carpet, all before reaching the “real girl.”

Beauty On The Runway

One of this years leading influencers is dark lip shades. No more bright or neutral lip shades, but instead – dare to trend bold. Crank up your beauty style with a deep lip color. Thanks to Christian Sirano’s runway style featured at past seasons Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, deep shades of mulberry graced the lips of his models. Other dark lip trendsetters included Yves Saint Laurent, Alice + Olivia, and Gucci – just to name a few.

Beauty On The Red Carpet

As summer sizzled on, so does the array of dark lip shades, which can be found on Hollywood’s top trendsetters like Emma Stone, Freida Pinto and Rose Byrne – all spotted trending dark shades hues on the red carpet. Started at the Met Ball on May 9, Camilla Belle, Jessica Alba and Kate Bosworth all wore deep and rich lip shades.

Beauty and the Real Girl

This year’s hottest makeup ‘must-haves’ eventually take to the streets. Trends on our favorite celebs make it easy to keep up with the Joneses. Before long, friends and family alike – can all be seen wearing a beauty trend that got their start on the runway!

File:Shemar Moore Cannes 2012.jpgShemar Moore takes the cake when it comes to eye candy. Moore was spotted looking sexy as he flexed his pecks on the beach in Miami, Bossip reports. This is Moore’s second sighting in Miami. Bossip featured Moore poolside back in May.

The celeb posed for his adoring female fans as he allowed them to take pictures.

The fact that his body is so toned makes it acceptable for the star to constantly appear shirtless. The Criminal Minds star went shirtless in Cannes, France on May 22, 2012. Smiling brightly, Moore was spotted showing off his six-pack at the French night club Gotha, according to the Daily Mail.

Shemar Moore is best known for his role as Derek Morgan in Criminal Minds, and from 1994 to 2005, Moore successfully held his starring role as Malcolm Winters on CBS’s hit soap opera The Young and the Restless.

What do you think lovelies? Who else…would like some Moore!?
